Kitchen remodel requires two sets of plans of the floor plan layout. Show any walls which are going to be removed. Show location of all windows and electrical receptacles. All counter top space must be served by GFCI's and two 20 amp. breakers.
Kitchen counter receptacles- NO point along the wall line is more than 24" measured horizontally from a receptacle outlet. Island counter tops 12" or wider shall have at least one receptacle for each 4' of countertop . A 4 prong outlet shall be used for an installation of a new range. All counter top space shall now be served by GFCI receptacles with two or more 20 amp. circuits shall be installed in kitchen. All counter top receptacles shall be protected by ground fault circuit interrupter.
